Halogen – Free – Flame – Retardent (halogen free flame retardant compound STOPFIRE FR-12)
Because of safety and Uniform Building Code (UBC) problems of highrise building over the past several years for the concerning about Aluminium composite panel, particularly using halogen free flame retardant compound for core layer, MNC see an opportunity to develop the halogen free flame retardant compound for Aluminium composite panel FR-12 which features superior flame retardancy without emit toxic gases or halogen gases and also shows the excellent flame retardancy with very low smoke property. It is ideal for many applications requiring a self extinguishing structural ACP system.
Moreover, FR-12 can be formed by various processing methods such as single screw extruder, twin screw extruder injection molding, compression molding, etc. with temperature range of 150°C up to 250°C. For Aluminium Composite Panel products, FR-12 can be adhered with adhesive layer and achieve very high peeling strength.

How to storage and handling STOPFIRE FR-12
Halogen Free Flame Retardant Compound STOPFIRE FR-12 is hygroscopic materials; namely it is moisture-absorbing. If moisture content is very high, preheating auxiliary equipment should be necessary to reduce moisture content. The desiccant dryer (Dehumidifier equipment) is highly recommended. Depend on surrounding moisture and temperature, 2-4 hrs drying time is appropriate at 60°C - 80°C.

Storage
Store product indoor at 60 - 80 °F ( 16°C-27°C ) for maximum storage life. Higher temperatures reduce normal storage life. Lower temperature may cause increased processing temperature in extruder. Rotate stock on a first in first out basis.
Transportation
This is not dangerous product. Please make sure there are covers avoid raining and moisture during transportation.
Shelf life
When stored in the original, unopened bag at the storage conditions, STOPFIRE FR-12 has shelf life of 12 months from the date of shipment from MNC.
